You pay us. That's the entire business model.
No commissions. No product placements. No selling your data. If that sounds like a low bar, it's because most of the industry doesn't clear it.
The pledge
- No commissions from mutual funds, insurance, or loans — we don't get paid when you buy a product through us, because you can't.
- No product placements or "recommended for you" nudges toward any fund, policy, or lender.
- No selling or sharing your data with anyone, for any reason.
- No lead generation for banks or NBFCs — your details are never passed on as a sales lead.
- Documents are analysed, then deleted — we never store the original file, only the summary you can see.
Why this matters
Most free finance apps in India aren't free to run — someone pays for them. Usually it's a fund house, an insurer, or a bank, in the form of a distribution fee or commission when you buy a product through the app. That means the app's incentive is to get you to transact, not to give you the most honest read of your own numbers.
Wealto's only revenue is the subscription you pay. There's no second customer sitting behind you whose interests we're also serving. That doesn't make us infallible — it just means the incentive points one direction: getting your numbers right, not getting you to buy something.
Ask why your finance app is free.
Verify it
- Documents you upload are analysed and then deleted immediately — the original file is never stored, only the analysis summary stays in your account.
- Your data is protected with row-level security, so only you can access your own records.
- Every record you add — investments, loans, policies, goals — can be edited or deleted from inside the app at any time.
Read the specifics in our Privacy Policy — including exactly what we collect, what we don't, and how document analysis works end to end.
